HOWL

Just been to see the movie HOWL with James Franco. The whole gay poet thing going on reminded me of an old electronica number by My Robot Friend. Here it is for you to enjoy

AKIRA THE DON

I used to drop Akira The Don Feat. Bashy's track 'Clones' at our earlier Cavalcade of Pop parties and it was a bit of a Stomper. To be fair Akira since has gone of my radar a bit. But he's back with Chilly and it's free to download!

Here's the awesome video for clones...

HELLA NERVOUS!

Gravy Train were so mental, I thought it would be difficult for Hunx to stand on his own. He's now onto his second album and it's sounding as delicious as his first. Kitschy 50s rock and roll with a big dollop of Frenchies mustard. His Videos are hilarious too. Here's a teaser for Hunx and his Punx new single enjoy...

FAVORITE VIDEO OF ALL TIME (AT THE MOMENT)

SIC

I have a bit of a fetish for music that sounds homemade, and it's even better when it's free! This week I Tunes have an offering from a london band called Yuck. It sounds like it's recorded in their garage and I was probably as excited as I was when I heard Metronomy's first album.

Anyway heres YUCKs debut album, and if you want a freebie follow this link

FREE STYLE...

If you liked Goldfrapp back in the Black Cherry days, Ladytron in the Seventeen days and Tiga sent you (Far from) home, then you're going to appreciate the ambient electro pop of the Queen of Hearts...

Freestyle (Produced by DREAMTRAK) by Queen Of Hearts

FreeStyle is her first release and it's a great little disco track. Although having seen the video teaser, perhaps she shouldn't freestyle so much on her dress sense. Surely only Bjork can carry off the dead swan look?

FINALLY HERE'S THE VIDEO!

There you go, Britney has finally released the Hold it against me Video.  I'm loving the blue rinse action and the McQueen-esque dress painting. Is it enough to knock Adele of the top of the charts? I'm not quite sure...

Never Stop...Chilly Gonzales - You Can Dance (Walter Sobcek Remix)

SUITABLY BLOATED!

I'm so excited when I heard Frankie and the Heartstrings, it brought me back to the parties back in the day when Kaiser Chiefs - I predict a riot would destroy the venue, or the floor would bounce to Franz Ferdinands Michael.

After all the slushy, weak, indie pop at the moment it's about time some decent indie music is back. I'm in indiepop heaven!

BRIGHTON LIFE DRAWING CLASSES

At Pop Kraft - there is lots of things to make and do including participate in obscene life drawing classes right in the middle of the club night! If that's not totally radical enough here's a selection of our favorite drawings...
